Critical Commentary

This photo story illustrates the devastating and lasting effects Hurricane Sandy had on New York and New Jersey. The article depicts damaged property, ruined commuter lines, severe widespread flooding, the particular devastation on the Jersey shore, and food being served on street sides to people that lost the ability to obtain/make their own. It also shows at the end the resilience of these two states as they slowly but surely recover form the aftermath.
