Critical Commentary

The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s maps, tools, data browsers, and dashboards on energy in the US.

The maps are searchable down to the street-address level and display locations of energy infrastructure, energy resources, disruptions to energy infrastructure, and flood vulnerabilities. Tools include web applications that help convert different units of measure, enable users to search, filter, and load EIA datasets, download bulk data sets to zipfiles, and track petroleum imports into the US by type, crude oil grade, location, and country of origin. Data browsers and dashboards display data in multiple forms and range from the international, national, regional, state, and sub-state level (but does not contain city-scale data).
