They researched a lot into tuberculosis/HIV and the social issues that were discussed. Articles on asthma were also reviewed and used, despite asthma not being directly discussed, as well as lead poisoning. This could indicate that more diseases are affected by social issues than discussed in the article, or maybe those diseases didn't show any correlation.

Cloud9 was built to help better give care to those suffering from mental health issues. Cloud9pych.com allows for online mental health screening, live video chat with mental health professionals, and track daily changes in mental health status. Cloud9 is a tool for both those in the medical industry as well as those affected by mental health issues. The idea is that this online/app tool will allow for better, faster, and less expensive mental health care.

The stakeholders are Dr. Atul Gawande, other healthcare professionals, and the patients with terminal illnesses. They have to decide what the patient's priorities are, treatment options, and basically how much time and quality of life patients are willing to trade for extended years to live. Is the treatment making the patient worse or better? Doctors have to put themselves in a position of vulnerability by personally getting to know their patients, and deal with the guilt and blame if their treatments aren't successful or what they had said to the patient's family.
