The water laboratory believes that the poor growth of oysters is complicated, and requires long-term monitoring.
Ronggong Company(榮工) developed a sea reclamation project, and the fishermen on the south side believed that the construction caused the turbidity of the sea, which affected the growth of oyster seedlings and caused losses. The company stated that the turbidity of the seawater is not high and will not affect the aquaculture industry. The Fisheries Research Institute believes that global warming and the El Niño phenomenon, coupled with the development of Shanghai Pudi, will affect ocean currents, and the factors affecting the growth of oysters are complex, and long-term monitoring is needed to find the cause. The Fisheries Research Institute stated that if artificial seedlings can be produced in large quantities, the problem will be solved.
