Continuing to expand my capacity to communicate my research and engage with others in addressing shared research and advocacy commitments--particularly in respect to questions around building public health capacities for engaged research and recognition of plural forms of evidence and expertise. Also start to make better use of PECE. Sharing research and advocacy resources--relationships, ideas, words, questions, stories ...

 I want to contribute to and learn from research that is not only focusing on a particular EJ field but is also inherently interdisciplinary. In this way, I hope to expand my experience on different collaborative approaches to EJ research and see projects make a difference in the communities that we are working with. I also hope to learn from listening to more experienced researchers in the Lab and gain an understanding of the process of academic research as a whole. Overall, a research community of passionate, supportive people!

I hope (and have already) to learn more about engaged and experimental research from other members of the lab, in ways that can inform my own design, execution, and analysis (both independently and collaboratively). I also see the lab as a place to check in about my work as it progresses, and obtain iterative feedback (particularly once fieldwork has started next year). I also see it as a space to develop collaborative work (e.g. presenting at 4S). I think as a TA for 25A, this lab is also very helpful for better understanding the design and aims of the class.
