One of the things that I was going to follow up on was the Campaign to Shut Down Rikers, but unfortunately the website has been shut down, and currently holds no content. There is currently no explanation as to why the website was taken down; at least that I could find.
I looked into some of the big fires in America's history as well as the emergency response for them. It is very saddening to see how poor the response was back then and how many lives were lost unnecessarily, but at least we have improved.

The arguement is supported from more than one direction which, in my opinion, makes this such an empowering film.
