Jagüey

Jaguëy

This is a still from a home video which depicts the jaguëy when it was no longer in use. A metal awning covers the watering hole.

Arroyo (Verano)

This clip, trimmed from a home video filmed in the late 1990s, shows Urequío's arroyo during the wet season.

Cantaro

This vase was created by artist Armando Cortés, former resident of Urequío. It is part of a series of pottery creations that depict the types of vessels used to draw water from the jaguëy.
