This vase was created by artist Armando Cortés, former resident of Urequío. It is part of a series of pottery creations that depict the types of vessels used to draw water from the jaguëy.
This image was taken from the top of Urequío's main water resevoir, accessible by hiking through the land used for animal grazing.
