The program is focused on educating students and researchers in various methods to further research on the criminal justice system and its associated sociological factors. As of this time, the Center is offering two main educational opportunities, one for summer research interns and one for researchers to participate in a 2 year study on HIV in prisons funded by  the National Institute on Drug Abuse

The Ebola Response Anthropology Platform is funded by a grant which is from Research for Health in Humanitarian Crises (R2HC) Programme. It is overseeing, executed and managed by the Wellcome Trust and DFIF. As well as the platform is collaborate with other Ebola response anthropology initiatives, within Emergency Ebola Anthropology Network and francophone SHS Ebola Network.

The first quote is “Eleven people attempted suicide in one night and the isolated Attawapiskat First Nation in northern Ontario became Canada's most talked about story. A week later five children tried to take their owns lives too.” It shows the mental emergency is serious in Canada.

 

Another quote is "When we go to the health centre for example after hours the staff on duty would probably only be a nurse and an LPN, or a doctor on call or maybe an ambulance, that would be the kind of service available after hours. There is none for mental health or addictions. When families are experiencing PTSD and other stresses, they are having a really hard time, there is no one, really." It shows the lake of support of mental support is a big issue for people. Government should offer more resource for mental health and solve mental issue which is already as a state emergency.

The article is supported through the use of interviews with Katrina survivors, providing first hand accounts and opinions of the recovery efforts from the storm, Statistics and policy moves from FEMA and other response agencies that worked in the aftermath of the storm, and data from census reports and other goverment sources to establish the scope of the disaster, and the widespread displacement and homelessness it caused.

The media mention the Live Box is good to use for natural disaster and helping people. As well as the transport is important, the more resource can be sent to disaster zone, the more people can be helped and saved. It not only can send by car, but also airdrop. There are 192 Life Boxes could be fit into a 50 feet long truck. An Live Box could be carry by two people and easy to use.
